We've been busy brainstorming behind the scenes of how we could better serve you this year. And I’m excited to officially announce (on the blog) the launch of a brand new (and very exclusive) service called the “The Ultimate Closet Makeover”. The service that will change your life in one day.

But first, let’s talk about why and how this new offering came about.

Last year, I came across the Instagram account, The Joyful Minimalist on Instagram and I was instantly allured by Kristin’s gorgeous aesthetics and passion for clean beauty. After stalking her profile and website, I was intrigued by her capsule closet offerings. Her website read: “I help overwhelmed, ambitious women declutter their closets and elevate their homes with a minimalist approach. My unique 3-step process focuses heavily on editing and working with the space you have (ie: if it doesn't fit, something has to go), this step sets the foundation for the rest of the project. I'm here to help you buy back your mornings, show up with confidence, shop with purpose, and experience more joy!”. Okay, tell me you don’t want to book a service with her right now after reading that! So I did just that.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been a glorified “shopaholic”. Growing up, going to the mall with my Mom or scouring the racks for hours on end at Nordstrom Rack was a favorite passtime. But as I’ve gotten older, I crave less stuff. Trying to constantly pick up and organize after my kids things has left me with little to no energy when it comes to my spaces and I’ve come to the realization that less really is more.

I really needed Kristin to come in and help me edit down my current wardrobe in order to make room for more closet staples — more quality pieces. Yes, that means I’ve decided to give up those fast fashion purchases that seem alluring because of the $20 price tag and invest in items that are classic & will last the test of time.

Because my closet was already organized, we didn’t have any work to do after the editing portion in terms of figuring out how to put things back in an organized way. But it got me thinking…what about all the clients who need help organzing their closets also had Kristin there to help with editing and creating outfits with what they already own? This would make organizing their space so much easier because the purging would be done at the same time!
