The New Styled Out West
Welcome to the brand new Styled Out West! I am so excited to finally reveal the new website with you after teasing it for what feels like FOREVER.
So why a re-brand?
As I’m sitting here writing this, it’s surreal that the website is finally live. What a labor of love this has been — in the best way. Last year, I had one of the most successful years for Interior Design yet. I almost tripled our revenue and really started to see things take off. Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t without serious goal setting, thought provoking conversations with myself on who I needed to be not only as the Principal Designer, but also CEO, and a lot of freaking hard work! But it paid off and I couldn’t have been happier (and more proud). The problem? I felt as if our branding and website was no longer a reflection of who Styled Out West had become. I now had crystal clear clarity on who our ideal client was and the type of projects I wanted to be a part and now our brand needed to showcase that.
In came Meghan Lambert to update not only all our branding materials (logo, fonts, colors, brand marks), but an entirely new website design, too. I wanted our new branding to feel more elevated and sophisticated, just as our design projects do. Since SOW started as a lifestyle blog and interior design was added later, that’s exactly how the website felt — like we were a lifestyle blog who also “dabbled” in interior design. The new site needed to be quite the opposite of that and not only showcase our beautiful projects, but reflect all the hard work I had put into perfecting our client experience as well. As our years of experience grows, so does our clientele. We offer a full-service design experience, taking care of your project from start to finish and that type of service is a luxury — I wanted our website to feel the same.

From the first phone call with Meghan, she saw my brand for what it was and what I wanted it to be. Her questions were extremely detailed and caused me to question a lot of things I wanted for the brand and our future. I spent hours answering her questions and creating Pinterest boards for inspiration. I even went as far as to create a Google Doc of everything I wanted the website to cover (we live and breathe by Google Docs for our business so this was such a great way for her and I to stay organized). We started our conversation back in late 2023 and didn’t begin the process until March of this year. She took all my notes and thoughtfully crafted a new logo that I approved on the first round (I love how she designed the W in West to resemble a wave). From there, we went back and fourth on brand concepts and collateral such as business & thank you cards, stamps, stickers, etc. She even re-branded all our Canva docs we send to clients like our Welcome Guides, Investment Guide and Design Board Template. Once the branding was complete, we moved on to web design. It started with just concepts she mocked up and we made a few revisions before finally getting the site transferred over to Squarespace 7.1. The amount of detail and time Meghan put into this project was unparalleled and I will be forever grateful to her for seeing my vision through. She is also extremely organized and time oriented which I really appreciated.
All said and done, it’s been 6 months of pouring my entire heart and soul into this re-brand and I have loved every single minute because it brought out so much creativity and inspiration in me that I felt had been lacking for a while. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do — because after all, I designed it with all of you YOU in mind.
