How to Sooth a Teething Baby
This post has been sponsored by Orajel™ Baby . All thoughts and opinions are my own.
There is nothing worse than seeing your baby in pain. Poor Joey is cutting all her top teeth at the same time and since she is my second, I figured it would be helpful to share the methods that have helped us the most. Starting with our favorite product (found at Safeway), Orajel™ Non-Medicated Cooling Gels for Teething. Orajel is #1 pediatrician recommended and also Benzocaine and drug free!
What I love most about Orajel cooling gels is that they have a day and night time option to help soothe baby’s gums. The night-time option has chamomile for use at bedtime so we can both get a good night’s rest. After breakfast and lunch, I apply the cooling gel onto her gums to help in between nap times and it really seems to help her.
I also love that I can get Orajel Non-Medicated Cooling Gels from my local Safeway store and pick it up while I’m grabbing other items on my grocery list! One of them being fresh fruit that I freeze in mesh pouches and give to her during feeding times as another option to help soothe gums. Even better, I can order it ahead of time using the handy Safeway app, saving me time and avoiding a fussy baby being carted around the store.
From my experience, babies just want lots of extra snuggles and attention during teething months so she actually doesn’t mind me putting the Orajel teething gel on her gums while we snuggle and watch a show (until she loses focus and tries to run away from me)! I’m actually loving this extra sweet time with her and can’t wait to see those little teeth pop out on top!
Make sure to pick up Orajel Non-Medicated Cooling Gels for Teething at your local Safeway and download the app for a fast and easy shopping experience!
