A Life + Business Update
It’s been a MINUTE since I’ve caught up with you all on the blog. Between the pandemic, the success of our Interior Design services and trying to raise two small kids, the blog took a major back seat. But I can happily say, it’s coming back in a big way and I can’t wait to start sharing all kinds of content with you all on a more regular basis!
Welcome to My Closet
Welcome to my closet! After several questions regarding my closet design and the organization systems I use, I’m finally getting around to sharing all the details of this beautiful space I was lucky enough to design myself. I’m giving you the full run down of how I designed this space and links to all the products I use to keep this space beautiful and organized!
Fall Home Tour
My favorite season of the year is Fall. The change of weather, the fashion, pumpkin everything and my birthday month (October)…what’s not to love! I also love nothing more than to decorate my home for the season. This year, I kept it super with a few pumpkins sprinkled throughout, and really honed in on all the Fall colors like rust, burgundy and sand.
Welcome to Everyday Coastal Living
Everyday coastal living is a phrase I coined after really thinking about my design style. The types of colors, textures and products I lean towards and how I want my home (and my clients homes) to feel. And the best part? You don’t need to live near the water to achieve this style.
How to Sooth a Teething Baby
There is nothing worse than seeing your baby in pain. Poor Joey is cutting all her top teeth at the same time and since she is my second, I figured it would be helpful to share the methods that have helped us the most. Starting with our favorite product (found at Safeway), Orajel™ Non-Medicated Cooling Gels for Teething. Orajel is #1 pediatrician recommended and also Benzocaine and drug free!
The Best Design Trends of 2020
I was lucky enough to be asked by Redfin to share my favorite design trend from 2020. The pandemic has had a major impact on how we live our day to day lives. And one place where we can see a lot of the change happening for ourselves is within our homes. From the way we work, to the way we exercise, to the way we recreate. Our homes have had to adapt in ways that we never thought possible resulting in some pretty unique trends in design and functionality both inside and out.
Interior design can feel like a mystery. Are we decorators? Do we only pick out furniture? Do we handle construction? The reality is, an interior designer can do all of the above—and so much more. If you’ve ever wondered whether you need an interior designer, what we actually do, or which service is the best fit for you, I’m breaking it all down for you!
